If you're just going to surf the web, it's overpriced, but text does look great on the screen. It's dual graphics make it ideal for powerful and graphic intensive tasks and it's general power is probably more than most will need. Maybe that's because it's been pretty cold and I have yet to wear shorts while using it!For anyone who needs a powerful machine, this is for you. Seriously, if the new MacBook Pro with Retina isn’t close to perfect, we don’t know what is. It’s thin, fast, beautiful, and built very well. Basically just a quick question from a newbie to Photoshop, recently i've been finding that my text on photoshop amongst other items in my designs were ending up blurry as a result of my retina display on my Macbook Pro, I have subsequently changed to the pixels per inch on the image to 227 pixels per inch (the exact PPI in respect to my screen. It can and does get hot, but it's not been uncomfortable yet. We suppose we’ll all have to wait for the answer on that one, but right now, Apple’s late-2013 MacBook Pro with Retina is pretty much best in class as far as laptops go. The first cycle wasn't great and I thought it might actually be a problem, but a few more cycles and it has really started to give me close to, if not exceeding, the suggested battery life.It's so much quiter than previous MacBooks, much of this is surely down to the SSD and the CPU.

Failing that, you can download apps to customise the resolution.This Mac is fast, and combined with Mavericks I am now getting some great battery life. Obviously, the more space you require, the smaller things are, but luckily there is an easy to use scale that will help you to get the resolution that's right for you.
